Experienced Professional
Stephanie is an experienced Assistive Technology Consultant familiar with a wide variety of assistive devices. Stephanie is a certified educator with a background in teaching adults with disabilities and elementary education. Stephanie's 16 years working in the field of disability at one of the largest regional rehabilitation centre's in Nova Scotia, serving 200 people with complex behaviour needs and mental health concerns, allowed her to gain a wealth of knowledge.
Stephanie has worked with iPads since their conception in 2010 and understands how they can be used for enhanced independence. Stephanie understands how mobile phones, iPads, and tablets can aid in greater independence for all who use them.
